Devlog 01: Getting Everything Shipshape
Hey everyone, and welcome to the first Will of the Sea devlog! We will be posting daily updates on the game here. We are excited to be able to share our process with you, so without further ado, let's dive right in (haha, you get it? sea puns...I'll stop now).
Ok, so first up, we are redoing practically all of the art and adding a bunch of new stuff. Here are some WIPs and concepts art for what we are working on today.
Kennedy is working on some new boats for the players. Here are the base meshes that we will be baking high poly details onto.
Avery has been creating a new oil rig model, which is shown below.
I've been working on some concepts for the new god ability, Ice Bow. The first image below was the first pass at the concepts, and based on team feedback, I created the second sheet. We ended up choosing concept B.
